For the past 20 years, SIGMA-CARE has been dedicated to developing and creating high-quality products. At the same time, we aim to contribute to society by fulfilling our corporate social responsibility, promoting the harmonious development of society, economy, and environment, and making contributions to creating a better world.
The global COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread. On the 27th, Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung attended the donation ceremony of "Mobile Examination Screens" at Taoyuan General Hospital. The donors included three companies: Hsin Kuang Steel, Min Chung International, and Asclepius Development, which jointly developed and donated 156 mobile examination screens worth NT$3.6 million to Taoyuan General Hospital. Attendees included Minister Chen Shih-chung, Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan, Taoyuan General Hospital Director Hsu Yung-nien, Hsin Kuang Steel Chairman Li Ming-te, Min Chung International Chairman Chang Ting-wei, and Asclepius Development General Manager Ho Tien-yu.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, SIGMA-CARE spared no effort in contributing to the nation. In a short time, we quickly manufactured 50 electric nursing beds and swiftly delivered them to Paraguay, addressing the local shortage of hospital beds due to equipment scarcity. We understand that in this critical moment of the global fight against the pandemic, every bit of support is crucial. Therefore, we did our utmost to provide necessary medical equipment to help the regions in need overcome this challenging time.
In 2023, Asclepius participated in the Taiwan Long-term Care Rental Assistive Devices Exhibition. With the B-930 quick-disassembly lightweight home electric nursing bed, Asclepius was honored with the Taiwan Long-term Care Rental Assistive Devices Excellence Award - Honorable Mention and went on stage to receive the award as a representative of the Honorable Mention winners.
